AgrieTour, fiera dell’agriturismo in Italia, ha registrato un’ottima affluenza. In 12mila hanno visitato stand ed espositori.

AgrieTour ha fatto registrare 12mila visitatori nei giorni 12-13-14 ottobre: il salone nazionale dell’agriturismo si conferma appuntamento principe per il mondo degli Agriturismi, ma non solo. AgrieTour ha acceso su Arezzo i riflettori di un comparto turistico ormai fondamentale per l’economia di settore.

A dimostrazione, i tanti stand ed espositori che hanno riempito gli spazi di AgrieTour durante la tre giorni. Agriturismi, fornitori di servizi, regioni e provincie, ma anche portali online che promuovono la visibilità delle Strutture sui motori di ricerca, come www.Agriturismo.st.

AgrieTour è stata impreziosita, inoltre, dalla presenza di una madrina d’eccezione: Giusy Buscemi, Miss Italia 2012 e testimonial della regione Sicilia.

Dall’Agriturismo in Umbria all’Agriturismo in Toscana, dall’Agriturismo ad Arezzo all’Agriturismo a Viterbo, tutte le più belle zone di agriturismo erano presenti o come espositori o come visitatori.

Anche per quest’anno, AgrieTour ha quindi svolto nel migliore dei modi il ruolo di appuntamento di riferimento dell’agriturismo in Italia.

ROME - In de zuidelijke Italiaanse provincie Cosenza heeft vrijdag midden in de nacht een aardbeving plaatsgevonden. De beving had een kracht van 5,3 op de schaal van Richter. Dat meldt het Italiaanse persbureau Ansa.

Een man kwam om nadat hij een hartaanval kreeg tijdens de aardbeving. Een ziekenhuis werd uit voorzorg ontruimd en enkele gebouwen liepen schade op.

Eerder deze week stapte het hoofd van de Italiaanse rampenbestrijding af uit protest. Hij was boos, omdat een rechter maandag zeven van zijn medewerkers veroordeelde wegens de aardbeving in 2009 in l’Aquila. De seismologen moeten 6 jaar de cel in en 9 miljoen euro schade vergoeden, omdat ze niet hadden gewaarschuwd voor de aardbeving, waarbij 309 mensen omkwamen.

Het zal rustig worden in de PC Hooftstraat want vandaag gingen de virtuele deuren dan echt open van Versace’s gloednieuwe webwinkel in Nederland. Een weekje later dan beloofd maar misschien moest de Nederlandse BTW-verhoging nog worden aangepast. In de webshop zijn naast kleding ook schoenen, handtassen, accessoires, beautyproducten en interieurartikelen te koop.

Grape Harvest and Starting to Make Wine

We have a small vineyard with mostly Trebbiano grapes, a small sweet white grape that is used for making table wine and is one of the principal grapes in Le Marche’s DOC Falerio wine.

A few weeks ago along with our guests we harvested our grapes and are now making wine.

What a beautiful day it was…one of those lovely September days with hardly any humidity in the air with blue skies.

Next the grapes go into the crusher; ours is a small hand crank affair.

The crusher separates out the stems which would make the wine bitter. the green crates contain the stems which then can be distilled into Grappa, or in our case, composted.

It’s a sticky job!

Next the juice is put into a big bin, covered with a cloth to keep the wasps and other bugs out, and kept cool with ice. We used 5 liter jugs of frozen water. Our good friend, neighbor and superb wine maker Emanuele suggested we do this and keep it cool until the fermentation is done. Fermentation took over a week.

It’s wonderful to have guests who like to participate in farm activities…we all have fun. Now hopefully we’ll also have a nice white table wine to share with guests. I’ll keep you posted!
