A group of archaeologists have discovered a storage jar in Italy dating back to the Copper Age (4,000BC) containing traces of wine, dramatically predating the presumed commencement of winemaking in Italy.

Mocht dat gebeuren, dan is de mini-staat goed voorbereid.Sinds de aanslagen in Nice zijn beveiligingsmaatregelen verzwaard. Dat gebeurde bij diverse religieuze hotspots in Italië, maar speciale aandacht gaat uiteraard uit naar het Vaticaan. Rondom de Sint-Pietersbasiliek zijn barrières opgeworpen en legervoertuigen geplaatst.
