Jan Kooijman vindt dat Nederlanders wel het een en ander kunnen leren van Italianen. “Wat ik altijd heel erg mooi vind aan Italië is dat de mensen, de mannen maar ook de vrouwen, houden van flaneren”, zegt de acteur voor de camera van Novum Nieuws.

“Dan heb je zo’n boulevard, de dames zijn helemaal opgekalefaterd en hebben hun mooiste schoenen en jurken uit de kast getrokken”, gaat Kooijman, die een rol heeft in Johan Nijenhuis’ film Toscaanse Bruiloft, verder. “Ik hou daar wel van. Soms denk ik: hadden wij in Nederland maar iets meer een klimaat als in Italië, zodat het in Nederland ook wat makkelijker zou kunnen.”
