Sempre all’insegna della qualità. Ecco tutti i partecipanti.

Being able to pop out for a pizza is the thing the Pope misses most after becoming PopeThe freedom to pop out for a pizza is the main thing Pope Francis misses two years after being elected the head of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics, he revealed on Friday. In a wide-ranging interview to mark his two years on the Seat of St Peter, the Argentinian Pope said the only thing he regretted about being made pontiff were the restrictions to his movement, largely because of security concerns.”The only thing I would like is to go out one day, without being recognised, and go to a pizzeria for a pizza,” he told a Mexican television channel, comparing his life now to how it was when he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires.”In Buenos Aires I was a rover. I moved between parishes and certainly this habit has changed. It has been hard work to change. But you get used to it.”

Paduan engineer predicts ‘high-quality vending machines’ using fresh products will become ubiquitous – but traditionalists are dismissive even before unveiling. You can already get pizza delivered to your house or pop a frozen one in the microwave, but soon there will be an even faster way to get your hands on a slice of margherita, and it is making purists wince.Pizza twirlers and pizzeria owners in Italy have reacted with incredulity and disgust after an engineering professor in Padua announced he would unveil a vending machine that made the Italian staple from scratch in less than three minutes.“I will not eat this pizza,” said Enrico Famà, the director of Accademia Pizzaioli, a school that trains pizza-makers. “It is not something that is really a pizza.”
