“Planet Solar”, arriva all’Arsenale la barca a energia solare - Cronaca - la Nuova di Venezia
VENEZIA. Le Giornate europee del patrimonio hanno attirato tantissimi visitatori all’Arsenale e un ospite d’eccezione: la Planet Solar, l’imbarcazione mossa totalmente a energia fotovoltaica che ha già circumnavigato il pianeta e che sarà visitabile nei prossimi mesi alla Certosa.
Alberto Sonino, responsabile della tappa veneziana di questa imbarcazione lunga 35 metri, ha assicurato che rimarrà a Venezia fino all’inaugurazione dell’Expo 2015. «La cosa più bella è il contrasto dell’innovazione più estrema sulla sostenibilità dentro l’Arsenale storico», ha aggiunto Sonino. «Un colpo d’occhio con più significati. Il primo è Venezia monumenti e conservazione, e Venezia nel contesto dell’innovazione. Il secondo messaggio è che i fautori di questo progetto hanno scelto la laguna per farsi conoscere. Venezia che quindi può farsi utilizzare come vetrina al meglio e non solo farsi consumare dal turismo».
