The International Day of Italian Cuisines (IDIC) will return onSaturday January 17, 2014. Once again the 9th edition of IDIC will be a worldwide celebration of authentic and quality Italian Cuisine. The aim to defend it from bogus and counterfeiting as well as introducing the world to the authentic versions of famous Italian dishes. Thousands of chefs and restaurateurs all around the world will cook simultaneously on that day the Parmigiana di Melanzane (Eggplant Parmigiana), according to the authentic recipe.
