Lamberto Tassinari, an Italian writer, journalist and essayist living in Canada, presented a revolutionary theory at his conference hosted by the Associazione dei Professori d’Italiano del Quebec (APIQ) on December 9, 2009. He suggested the works of the great William Shakespeare were created not a by the small district landowner and theatrical entrepreneur, as has always been believed, but by the great Italian linguist and philosopher, John Florio.
