Delicious bread from Siena.Tuscany at this time of the year becomes the place where to be in order to taste the best local delicateness. Especially if you are in Siena, you will end up eating a cake called “Pan co’ Santi”. The literal translation is “Bread with the Saints” and it refers to All Saint’s Day, which is celebrated November 1st.In the Tuscan dialect, the saints are indeed the walnuts and the raisins inside the sweet bread. The bread, which is served as dessert, always comes with a sip of “vin santo”, the sweet wine which is now very famous worldwide.
