However, certain events demand a mention.Today a ship caught fire off the coast of Lampedusa and sank. It was carrying 500 people looking for a better chance in life. At least 90 of them, including children, died. The victims were mostly from Eritrea, Ghana and Somalia, the Italian authorities said.
