Panettone alla Vernaccia di Serrapetrona DOCG is the typical Christmas sweet of the tradition even more delicious that bind to the peculiarities of the territory and the quality of raw materials. This Panettone is made with the typical Le Marche wine a wine unique and ancient. Historically linked to Dante’s epic poem ‘Divine Comedy’, the wine is produced from a local grape variety, Vernaccia Nera, that can be found only in the Serrapetrona area, although it is possible to add small amounts of Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo. It is also the only wine that can withstand three fermentations. The end result is an intensely aromatic wine displaying a raspberry-red color, a bouquet of sweet red fruits such as strawberries and cranberries that are also echoed on the palate, with a hint of spice, firm tannins and a bright acidity.
